Spiral conveyors work best with uniform product but often require a larger footprint, especially when it comes to transporting tubs, totes, and large cartons. NERAK CVC's maintain the horizontal product orientation and accommodate indexing operation - spiral conveyors are inclined conveyors (product is not horizontal) and often struggle with start-stop operation as product can slide on the spiral or inside a tote or box when restarting the conveyor.

Products conveyed on CVC's are traveling a shorter path than on a spiral - especially for high elevations, the travel time difference is significant.
